Newly renovated mini appartment in Birkerød close to Copenhagen

A recently refurbished mini apartment, which forms part of my house and has its own private entrance, is available for rent. I am seeking a tenant interested in a long-term arrangement, ranging anywhere from six months to over a year.

The apartment covers a total of 28 square meters and includes a living room, a bedroom, and a bathroom. In the bedroom, you will find a queen-sized bed, a spacious wardrobe, and a small desk. The living area is equipped with an induction hotplate suitable for one pot, a microwave, a kettle, and a refrigerator with a freezer compartment. Since the sink is located in the bathroom, please be aware that there is no full kitchen setup.

Furnishings are complete, including comforters, bedding, and towels. Just outside the entrance, in the front courtyard, there is a small table with chairs ideal for enjoying sunny days. Street parking is available free of charge nearby.

Located in Birkerød, the house is set in a charming town known for its historic church, several restaurants, and a quaint street with shops and places to walk. The surroundings are lush with parks, forests, and lakes. Birkerød lies approximately 25 kilometers from the center of Copenhagen, as well as from Helsingør and Hillerød, and it is also within 12 kilometers of DTU in Lyngby.

Birkerød station and the town center are reachable within a 12-minute walk or a 4-minute bus ride. From the station, trains to central Copenhagen (Nørreport) run every 10 minutes during the day and take about 30 minutes.

The monthly rent for the year 2026 is set at 6000 DKK, which covers heating, electricity, water, and internet access. There is no washing machine within the mini apartment, but access to my washing machine is available for a fee of 25 DKK per load. Additionally, professional cleaning of the apartment is mandatory every two weeks, costing 150 DKK per session, resulting in a total of 300 DKK each month.

Some basic house rules apply: shoes are not to be worn indoors, bathroom walls and floors should be wiped after showering, cooking requires airing out the space, and during the heating season, heating must be turned off when doors and windows are open.
