Situated centrally in Ringe, the youth housing on Fruelundsvej offers single-story terraced homes featuring shared entrances equipped with cloakroom lockers and a separate main entrance serving two units. Additionally, Fruelundsvej includes Building E, a two-story former poorhouse containing seven larger apartments spread over both floors. Each dwelling comprises a single room with a kitchenette, furnished with a combined fridge-freezer, individual cooking plates, and an exhaust hood. The bathrooms are spacious with vinyl flooring, and notably, the bathrooms in units E6 and E7 have windows.

Surrounding the residences are pleasant green spaces ideal for socializing with friends. A communal, locked bicycle shed is also available for residents’ use. Pet ownership is permitted for smaller animals such as birds, fish, guinea pigs, and rabbits; however, reptiles and other exotic pets are prohibited. Ownership of dogs and cats is not allowed, with the exception of the apartment at Fruelundsvej, E3, which has an independent entrance. Ringe provides an appealing blend of urban life and natural surroundings. The town boasts a charming main street lined with a variety of shops, grocery stores, and dining options. Cultural and recreational activities are abundant, including Ringe Bio cinema, a swimming pool, an athletics stadium, and a leisure center. Events such as runs take place at the scenic Ringe Lake, which also offers pleasant walking paths and rich birdlife. The town is family-friendly, featuring numerous childcare options including a nature kindergarten, as well as several schools throughout the area. Convenient motorway access is located close by, making it a roughly 15-minute drive to Odense or Svendborg. For those without a car, regional trains operate from Ringe station to both Odense and Svendborg.

The youth housing is intended exclusively for students currently enrolled in studies. Residency is permitted throughout the duration of the educational program but must end within three months following completion. Registration for the waiting list for these youth dwellings is free of charge.
