This active senior community comprises 69 apartments arranged around a courtyard with a shared house and an orangery. The homes have two or three rooms and each includes a private south-facing balcony or terrace. They are single-level apartments located on the ground floor, first floor or second floor, with elevator access; each elevator is shared by only 3-4 apartments. Large windows at both ends bring daylight inside and offer views across green spaces, industrial areas, residential neighbourhoods and the shared courtyard.

The apartments feature modern white kitchens with attractive stone worktops and are designed in a timeless Scandinavian style, combining simple, elegant aesthetics with practical functionality. Light colours draw on the character of the Nordic wilderness, creating open, welcoming interiors filled with energy. Each home also has its own shed or storage room. Residents can use free shared parking for cars and electric cars, a locked bicycle shed, and carports available to rent for cars or other hobbies. There are also two guest rooms that residents may rent, as well as an office for the administration.

The community is intended to provide a secure, worry-free setting where residents can enjoy everyday life, spend time together and build new relationships. Two caretakers look after the grounds by mowing the lawn, watering the garden flowers and dealing with repairs as they arise, helping keep the surroundings tidy, clean and pleasant. To move into Området, residents must be at least 50 years old and have no children living at home. This age requirement is intended to support a cohesive community in which residents can find shared interests and develop friendships and good neighbourly relationships, both inside and outside their apartments. Thirty-nine homes have been occupied since 2026, and 30 will be ready for move-in on 1 February 2028.
