Munkebjergvej comprises one four-storey building and three two-storey buildings, all constructed in 1963. Every home has a balcony. The development also includes a garage facility and an extensive park area with a children's playground. It is centrally located, approximately 3 km from the city centre. Heating is supplied by district heating, and residents have access to a shared laundry. Each home is equipped with a stove and a refrigerator.

The homes underwent renovation in 2023-2024. The work covered the installations and supply lines, as well as the provision of new kitchens and bathrooms. The renovation will result in a rent increase, although the amount has not yet been fully determined. Rent is to be calculated under differentiated-rent rules, based on each home's use value. The renovation work is the same across all homes, but the varying home sizes mean that its cost affects each home type differently. The housing organisation will make the final decision on how differentiated rents are handled.

Right-of-use alterations, such as replacing a kitchen or bathroom, cannot be carried out until the renovation is complete and the rent is below the development's maximum level.
