Nordbro is literally a translation of Nørrebro, and the name honors a vibrant, colorful district that continually inspires the rest of Copenhagen with its perspective, boldness and openness. These buildings are connected by a green, inviting rooftop garden reserved for Nordbro's residents, from which there is access to the communal house and the bar Brobar.

Nordbro's tower was designed by Arkitema Architects. The original idea was for Nordbro to help reinvent and develop the city. "The tower is a new trademark for the district.
