Nordbro's name is literally taken from Nørrebro, and it therefore acknowledges a lively, colourful neighbourhood that continuously sets an example for the rest of Copenhagen through its outlook, boldness and openness. The development comprises six point blocks with studio apartments reaching up to five storeys, alongside a distinctive, characterful tower containing residences spread over 29 storeys. All buildings are linked by a green, inviting rooftop garden reserved for Nordbro's residents, with direct access to the communal house and the on-site bar, Brobar.

Residing in the tower offers sweeping views across Copenhagen, contemporary and well-planned apartments, and membership of a local community that extends to both neighbors and the surrounding area. The tower's homes range from large one-room apartments featuring a sleeping alcove to apartments with two to four rooms, suited for shared households as well as families. Most of the family apartments come equipped with a washing machine and dryer; the remaining family units and the one-room apartments have access to a communal laundry. Tenants at Nordbro also have free access to the Fitness facilities, and there is the option to rent a parking space in the basement.

Arkitema Architects designed Nordbro's tower with the initial aim of contributing to the city's renewal and development. As Dorthe Keis, partner at Arkitema Architects, has put it: "The tower is a new trademark for the neighbourhood. It is important for us that Nordbro invites the outside world in, so that it is not a closed enclave, but actually gives something back to Nørrebro." Note: the images are from a show apartment.
