JOIN THE CREATION OF A BRAND-NEW SHARED HOME IN COPENHAGEN S! A ROOMMATE IS NEEDED FROM 1 NOVEMBER.

The person who was due to move in withdrew at the last minute, so we are looking again for the final person to join the household. You would help establish a new shared home and share everyday life with two other people who are also new to one another. The apartment is a brand-new four-room property in Ørestad, and the tenancy is unlimited.

The apartment measures 96 m² and is on the 2nd floor, with elevator access. Ørestad station and Netto are a 3-minute walk away; Fields and the metro are 5 minutes on foot. Kalvebod Fælled is 600 m away. The train journey to the central station takes 7 min, while Kongens Nytorv is 10 minutes away by metro. The apartment is fully equipped, including a storage room, a bright living room with a south-facing balcony, dishwasher, tumble dryer, washing machine, refrigerator and freezer, among other things. Residents also have access to a shared roof terrace, a green courtyard and bicycle parking.

Your housemates will be August and Mathilde. None of us knew one another beforehand, so you will join on equal terms. Mathilde, 30, has recently graduated in geography and is currently looking for work. She enjoys spending time with friends and family and exploring Copenhagen. Her favourite things include discovering new restaurants, travelling and going to events, always in good company. She also appreciates relaxed days or evenings at home with films, board games, creative projects or a fantasy book. She describes herself as thoughtful, positive and calm. August, 28, recently graduated from ITU and works as an IT architect. He is sociable and curious, and often has several projects underway at once. In his free time, he DJs, experiments with cocktails, cooks and pursues more nerdy interests such as Magic cards and computer games. He enjoys bringing people together for a cosy evening or dinner, as well as having an impromptu beer in the kitchen or a quiet night on the sofa. Community, laughter and people who like doing things together matter to him.

There are no specific conditions beyond being approximately 26-35 years old, wanting to be part of a community that shares everyday life, and helping keep the home tidy. Your job, sexuality, gender identity and similar matters are immaterial; everyone is welcome. The plan is to have informal shared dinners a few times a week, monthly house meetings-with baking a cake on a rotating basis-shared-house dates, weekly cleaning and perhaps traditions we come up with together. There will also be room to close your door whenever you need privacy. We will probably share the most basic staples, but there will be no joint food budget. Visits from friends and family are welcome, alongside calm evenings at home. Nothing is set in stone: the household is starting from scratch, so you will have plenty of say and the opportunity to shape it. The apartment is unfurnished, too, giving you the chance to make it your own.

The room is 7.92 m² and includes a built-in wardrobe. Rent is 6242 kr./md.; water, heating and electricity are included. The deposit is 3 x monthly rent. On moving in, you must also pay the first month's rent and one month's rent in advance. Dogs and cats are not allowed, but other types of pets may be brought.

Please note that the apartment is newly built and the keys will not be handed over until d. 30. oktober, so it will not be possible to view the actual apartment before we move in. The landlord does, however, hold open-house viewings of sample apartments every Sunday. The photos are also from one of the sample apartments.
