The apartments are situated within Lerpøtparken, located in the northern area of Varde. They occupy multi-story buildings with ground floors, first floors, and second floors. Although individual gardens are not available, residents have access to communal green spaces shared by all. A shared laundry facility is provided in the basement. The apartments were originally put into use between 1973 and 1977.

Within the complex, there are accessible two-room corner apartments positioned on the ground floor, designed to accommodate residents with disabilities. Between early 2003 and mid-2005, the entire department underwent extensive renovations. During this renovation, all balconies were enclosed with Velux windows, replacing the previously drafty balconies with small conservatories for each resident. Additionally, all roofs and entrance areas were replaced. The courtyards were also refurbished to include tables and benches, a barbecue zone, a reflecting pool, and child-friendly sections featuring playground equipment and sandboxes.
