Each home is oriented toward the south to maximize passive solar gain from sunlight.

The layout of these row houses incorporates staggered positioning, creating more secluded outdoor spaces for every individual dwelling. Within the Sommerfuglen project, there is a strong emphasis on biodiversity and maintaining native flora, benefiting both residents and visitors alike. Each property includes a private frontage facing the residential streets, accommodating parking spaces, carports, storage sheds, leisure areas, and private green zones.

Paths and roadways are designed to establish seamless connections between the housing cluster, recreational zones, and the natural environment. Natural elements were prioritized early in the development process, preceding the construction of the homes. The overall vision is to keep nature as the focal point, with the buildings carefully integrated into the landscape to highlight the surrounding greenery. This results in CO2-compensated rental homes offering a pleasant setting coupled with a well-considered interior layout.

The buildings feature either a single-pitched roof or vaulted ceilings. Internally, ceilings are finished with Troldtekt panels, and laminate flooring rated class 33 is installed in the kitchen/dining areas, living rooms, and bedrooms. Large tiles cover the remaining spaces. All cabinetry and fixtures are sourced from HTH. Each residence includes a ventilation system and underfloor heating controlled by wireless thermostats throughout the rooms. Interior walls are plastered and painted.

All homes come with a carport, a small garden, and a terrace enclosed by a hedge. Besides the monthly rent, tenants should expect additional expenses for water, electricity, and heating. Pets may be allowed in the row houses upon meeting specific criteria and receiving approval.
