Due to Vendsysselvej II being classified as a designated vulnerable housing area, rental applicants must satisfy stricter eligibility criteria. These requirements apply to all individuals on the waiting list and other household members within the specified age groups slated by these rules. Applicants must disclose the number and ages of those who will reside in the unit, supported by copies of passports or, alternatively, health cards and photo identification.

Regarding employment, all household members aged 15 to 64 are obliged to hold permanent jobs comprising a minimum of 25 hours weekly; fixed-term contracts are not accepted unless the individual can prove they are enrolled in an eligible education program. Documentation to verify employment includes six months of pay slips and the employment contract. Newly hired applicants must provide a contract along with evidence such as completed education, prior flexibility benefits, or earlier pay slips. Self-employed persons and consultants are required to submit CVR registration documents, the most recent annual tax statement, and a tax pre-assessment. Flexible job arrangements must be confirmed by municipal approvals.

If household members are students instead of employed, their education must be an SU-eligible, full-time program lasting at least one year, culminating in a recognized qualification, including apprenticeship positions. Proof involves official enrollment confirmation and copies of study contracts. Criminal background checks are mandatory, and no member older than 15 may have been convicted in the past two years under laws related to criminal offenses, weapons, or controlled substances. Certificates must be no older than eight days. Persons receiving early retirement pensions are not eligible for housing due to their status as public benefit recipients comparable to unemployment benefits, early retirement, or social assistance.

Flexible allocation options allow prospective tenants to improve their position on the waiting list if they meet certain additional criteria. For instance, a household member must have stable employment for at least 25 hours per week, verified by contracts and recent pay slips, including upcoming employment within two months of moving in. Employment subsidized by public programs (such as flexible jobs) is considered equivalent, provided documentation of minimum working extent is provided. Self-employed and consultants must provide registration and financial results for the most recent fiscal year.

Applicants undergoing SU-eligible education programs, or their spouse or partner attending such full-time courses of at least one year in duration within the municipality, may also benefit from flexible housing allocation. Documentation includes enrollment certificates and relevant contracts. Individuals who have recently undergone divorce, separation, or dissolution of cohabitation, and who require prompt housing due to these circumstances, can receive priority for up to one year after such events, supported by official separation papers or proof of cohabitation. Likewise, those selling a property within the municipality may qualify through providing a signed sales agreement.

Please be aware that special regulations apply to the initial rental phase of these dwellings, and waiting list positions displayed by the system may not reflect the actual priority as determined by the municipality. Inquiries regarding tenancy should reference lease number 9-31-4.
