Afdeling 6 comprises row houses that were built in 1980. The section has a communal laundry room, and residents have the option to rent a carport within the area. The housing estate known as Skipperkobbel includes 14 buildings arranged as terraced houses; the individual homes are well planned and receive plenty of natural light. Each dwelling features a kitchen with space for dining and a large, roomy bathroom. Every property has its own terrace and/or a small garden. Heating is provided by district heating (fjernvarme).

The development is located on the outskirts of Gram, situated in a quiet neighbourhood of single-family houses, close to attractive natural surroundings and still within easy reach of Gram centre. Gram itself lies approximately 22 km from Ribe and offers a school, after-school care (fritidsordning), public transport and shopping facilities. The town's Gram Kulturhus occupies a central position and contains sports facilities, bowling lanes and an outdoor swimming pool. There are pleasant walking routes, for example down to Gram Slot, the beautiful castle park and along Gram å.

The resident composition in the department is mixed, and there is a good spirit of neighbourliness. The estate's caretaker is responsible for maintaining the green areas and carrying out minor repairs inside the homes, and an inspector is also attached to ensure the ongoing upkeep of the development. A board has been elected for the estate, and at the annual meeting for all of the department's residents, decisions are made by the residents regarding all matters of the department's operation and the rent, etc.
