A bright, fully furnished room is available in my contemporary townhouse in Gartnerbyen, one of Odense's newest and most attractive residential neighbourhoods. The property sits in a quiet, safe and green setting with very good public transport links, making it suitable for students, researchers, healthcare professionals, young professionals, or commuters working in Odense. The neighbourhood has been planned with sustainability, green spaces and community in mind, and you will find supermarkets, cafés, fitness centres and Odense Letbane within easy reach so you can get around the city without a car. The location is excellent: it is approximately 15 minutes by bike to SDU, approximately 10-12 minutes by bike to OUH, and within walking distance of Odense Letbane, which provides direct connections to SDU, OUH, Odense Banegård and the city centre.

The available room is on the first floor and comes fully furnished with a comfortable bed, a spacious desk and chair, a chest of drawers and a mirror; it benefits from plenty of natural daylight and includes high-speed fibre internet so you can move in with just your suitcase. Shared areas include a modern kitchen, a shared bathroom, a washing machine and dryer, a dishwasher, high-speed fibre internet in the common areas, bicycle parking and parking available for a small car. CPR registration is available. Please note that the first-floor bathroom is shared with me: I mainly use the ground-floor bathroom for my daily routines, but because the ground-floor bathroom does not have a shower, I use the upstairs bathroom only for showering.

A little about me: I'm a working professional originally from India and have lived in Europe for almost 9 years, including the past 6.5 years in Denmark. I enjoy learning about other cultures and meeting people from diverse backgrounds, I have passed several Danish language exams and am still improving my Danish; I'm happy to practise Danish occasionally, though English is perfectly fine too. I value a peaceful, clean and respectful home and I respect others' privacy while occasionally enjoying a cup of tea or coffee and a friendly chat. I am a vegetarian but do not expect my tenant to be; everyone is welcome as long as we respect each other's preferences and keep shared spaces tidy. Because I live in the house and we will share the bathroom, I am looking to rent the room to a female tenant. The ideal person is female, responsible and reliable, clean and tidy, respectful of shared spaces, considerate about noise especially during late hours, a non-smoker, and is expected to have an ironing box and a cloth rack. I am seeking a calm and comfortable home rather than a party house; students, professionals, researchers and commuters working in Odense are all welcome to enquire. If you only need accommodation during the work week (for example if you commute to Odense), that arrangement is possible, but please note the monthly rent remains the same.

Practical details: rent is 3600 DKK/month + 300DKK (for electricity, water, heating and fibre internet), the deposit is 15.000 DKK, and the room is available from 01-07-2026.
