An applicant in a fleksjob is evaluated based on the number of hours the municipality tops up to; for example, if someone works 15 hours per week and the municipality supplements the salary up to 25 hours, that fleksjob is regarded as permanent employment. Applicants who are students must document that they or their cohabiting partner/spouse are enrolled in education; the study must be SU-eligible or fall under an education agreement or apprenticeship contract, and the housing applicant must receive instruction to an extent that qualifies for SU.
