The department comprises a total of 46 dwellings. On Rødhøjsvej there are single-storey terraced houses offering 2-4 rooms; 7 of these units are youth flats, each arranged as a 1-room dwelling. The houses were built 1988/90 and each has a terrace/garden and an outbuilding. Heating is provided by district heating, and there are a few carports within the department. This part of the department is located in Kværndrup.

On Svendborgvej is "Pakhuset", which contains 6 flats in a multi-storey building with an associated communal garden; this section is also located in Kværndrup. The rental units include a stove and a refrigerator, and the apartments were renovated in 1992. The department additionally has a shared laundry facility and a community house.

Residents hold an annual meeting where they determine the department's budget and thereby the rent for the coming year. To rent a youth flat in the department you must be in education and present an education certificate (study, apprenticeship or similar), and the tenancy is time-limited. You are free to arrange and alter your home as you wish; the department's website explains the procedures and which improvements can be financed by loan. Maintenance and resident services are handled via our property office or the building caretaker, where you can raise matters concerning your dwelling or issues related to the shared laundry, etc.
