Brande Boligforening is composed of two distinct housing departments. Department 1 encompasses residences located on Blichersvej and Torvegade, while Department 2 includes homes situated at Ørbækvej 13-19, Mosevænget 2-16, Mosevænget 18A-H and 19-38, as well as areas at Nørremarken and Kløvermarken. All of these dwellings are centrally positioned within Brande, offering convenient access to a variety of shops, numerous cultural activities, and the vibrant pedestrian street lined with many retail outlets. Residents have the option to rent a communal hall at Mosevænget for private events.

The apartments on Torvegade extend over three floors, incorporating a fully utilized attic level. These homes feature a rustic character with planed plank floors and paneled doors, and some units include balconies. Notably, building number 15 is equipped with an elevator. All tenants are welcome to enjoy the charming shared garden area. In contrast, the apartment building on Blichersvej underwent a thorough renovation between 2013 and 2014, which enhanced accessibility; doors were widened, and the new bathrooms were designed to be larger and more spacious than before. Art enhances many parts of Brande, including mural paintings on gables, sculptures, and intricate designs in paving and lighting throughout the pedestrian areas and the city.

The community consists of a diverse group of residents, including young people, families, and seniors. During the annual meeting attended by residents from all departments, decisions are made collectively concerning the management of the housing units and rent levels. Tenants are permitted to modify the layout of their apartments, provided that proposed changes are first reported. Tenants may also receive compensation for improvements they have personally financed when moving out.

Maintenance of the property's green spaces and minor repairs within individual units are handled by the onsite caretaker. Additionally, a facilities manager is responsible for the ongoing upkeep of the entire housing complex.
