At the Fyrtårnet residence in Bispebjerg, a senior co-housing community offers a new opportunity with move-in scheduled for March 23, 2026. Prospective tenants interested in joining the waiting list must submit a completed application form found under the "documents" section, sending it to kundeservice@udlejer. Each applicant will be assigned a unique waiting list number, which is exclusive and cannot be consolidated with requests for other housing options. It is important to note that holding a waiting list number necessitates an annual fee.

The building itself is a five-story structure housing a total of 25 two-room apartments. Each unit includes a bedroom, a kitchen-living area, and a bathroom. Shared spaces intended for the senior community are located on the ground floor in the building's northern section, as well as on the sixth floor, which provides panoramic city views. Laundry facilities are conveniently accessible on the ground floor as well. Apartments on the ground floor benefit from direct access to terraces at ground level, while upper-floor homes offer private balconies whose sizes vary. Inside, all apartments feature lacquered wooden parquet flooring, and the bathrooms are equipped with underfloor heating. Each resident is also allocated a storage room in the basement, where bicycle parking is available alongside paid parking spaces for cars.

The residential complex comprises 25 senior apartments and an additional 45 units designated for youth. The senior housing occupies the northern segment, whereas the youth apartments are situated in the southern portion of the development.

This community specifically caters to seniors aged 50 and above who do not have children living at home and who wish to engage actively within a social environment. To foster a dynamic and balanced community, tenancy allocation will ensure a suitable age distribution, maintaining representation both below and above the age of 65 among residents. Members of the co-housing are expected to have a constructive attitude toward participation, which extends beyond ordinary social interaction to include involvement in monthly house meetings, open house events, occasional communal meals, and shared responsibility for necessary practical and organizational tasks, all arranged through mutual agreement. The fundamental principles emphasized within the community are mutual respect, openness, and tolerance.
