A communal terrace at the villa faces the water, and there is a pleasant garden available for all residents to use. The department also offers the option to borrow a common room and to rent a guest flat. There are parking possibilities by the homes.

The local area
Strandgårdsparken is exceptionally well located just a stone's throw from the Faaborg Fjord. Residents receive a key to a private beach property on the opposite side of the main road, which includes a bathing jetty, boat mooring and green spaces for sunbathing that are particularly popular during the summer months. Strandgårdsparken sits on the edge of Faaborg, with 2 km to the town centre and only a few hundred m to the nearest bus connections. In the old market town of Faaborg you will find charming narrow streets with plenty of shopping and dining options, several good restaurants and a varied cultural scene including cinema, gallery museums and a library. The town is full of character and is set against fine natural scenery at the foot of Svanninge Bakker, better known as the Funen Alps.
