I am currently seeking roommates to share two available bedrooms in an apartment located in Teglholmen, Sydhavn, which I have just signed a lease for. The dwelling spans 95 square meters and features three bedrooms, a combined kitchen and living area-previous tenants managed to fit both a dining space and a small lounge section here-a spacious bathroom, an entrance hall, a storage room, a balcony, and a terrace.The metro station at Enghave Brygge is approximately a five-minute walk away, and the location is conveniently close to Fisketorvet, Islands Brygge, and the city center. Positioned next to the Sluseholmen Harbour Bath and Koralbadet, the residence offers beautiful water views and direct access to swimming spots throughout the summer months, and even in winter for those who enjoy a cold dip.
The living room connects to a long, though somewhat narrow balcony, which I plan to furnish as a spot for drinking morning coffee, reading, enjoying wine, watching sunsets, or simply relaxing. My own bedroom opens up to the terrace, which is adjacent to the courtyard area.
Convenience is enhanced by the presence of a dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer within the apartment. The monthly rent is 6,700 DKK, inclusive of an advance payment for utilities, with electricity and internet bills billed separately. The required deposit, which includes rent from April 15th to May 1st, amounts to 22,300 DKK.
A bit about me: I'm 31 years old and split my time between writing professionally and working as a bartender. Most days you'll find me busy with one of these jobs, absorbed in a book, persuaded into a casual after-work beer, or taking long walks along the canals. I'm a fan of handball-partly because I'm from Funen-and I occasionally travel to the island to visit family for the weekend. I'm hoping to find housemates who understand the need to respect fluctuating work schedules, as I also won't be making a habit of returning late at night when others are sleeping. Ideally, potential roommates will be 25 years or older, willing to contribute to keeping the place clean, and able to respect everyone's privacy.
My aim is to create a safe and enjoyable living environment where there is room for socializing with friends, as well as for quiet and relaxation. I look forward to hearing from interested parties.
Note: Since I haven't been inside the apartment since a viewing held during snowy weather some time ago, the only images I have are of the floor plan (which means I do not know the exact dimensions of each room), along with some photos from a model apartment and the harbour bath. Hopefully, you can imagine the atmosphere and might be interested in joining in.
