The housing complex offers accommodations that are accessible for individuals with disabilities and features pleasant communal green spaces within the area, fostering a friendly neighborhood atmosphere. Constructed in 1970, the development also includes a shared clubhouse available to residents.

Located in Næstved, the area provides convenient access to a variety of cultural amenities, including sports halls and a cultural center equipped with a theater. The residences are situated close to Lagunestien, a pathway that runs along the canal all the way to Karrebæksminde. Within the complex, residents benefit from a large shared outdoor green area that is open for their use.

Many of the apartments come with balconies, while those on the ground floor have direct access to their own gardens. Most of the units are designed to accommodate people with disabilities; however, there is one three-story building comprising 36 apartments that does not have an elevator. Over the years, the kitchens and bathrooms have largely been renovated, and the apartments are equipped with a stove and a combined fridge/freezer.

The community is well-suited for disabled residents but also includes a diverse mix of both younger and older tenants. The complex is governed by an active board that organizes social events and initiatives. During the annual general meeting, all residents participate in decisions concerning the management of the complex, including rent and other operational matters.

Maintenance tasks such as cleaning the stairways and common areas, along with the upkeep of green spaces, are carried out by on-site janitors. An inspector is also assigned to oversee ongoing maintenance of the property.

Tenants have the freedom to modify their apartments as they wish, and when moving out, they can receive reimbursement for improvements they have financed themselves, although this compensation is subject to depreciation over a number of years.
