Skovvænget/Brombærvej offers family housing in the desirable southern district of Haderslev, known as Sydbyen. They come fully equipped with quality white appliances including refrigerators/freezers and stoves, with most units also fitted with range hoods. Bedrooms offer pleasant views over green spaces or nearby forested areas. Living rooms are generously sized, allowing for both relaxation and dining arrangements. Large windows fill these rooms with natural light, and they lead out onto private, enclosed balconies ideal for outdoor enjoyment and relaxation. Here, residents can create a small retreat with plants, café-style tables, and chairs, enjoying scenic views of the adjacent forest and lush outdoor areas. Situated in the scenic southern part of Haderslev, adjacent to a forest, Skovvænget/Brombærvej consists of 22 yellow brick buildings dating back to 1968. The complex contains 342 homes accommodating a range of residents, including singles, families, seniors, and young people. The location is convenient, with everything within walking distance: from the extensive forest to schools, leisure clubs for older children, daycare centers, and shopping centers. Public transportation is easily accessible, with a bus stop right outside the door providing connections to the city center and local schools.

The project also includes the creation of 66 accessible apartments designed for independent wheelchair users. These units allow movement from parking lot to building, elevator access to the apartment, navigation within the home, and access to a balcony. These apartments, designed to appeal to families, seniors, and disabled residents alike, will be newly arranged with kitchens and living rooms facing the balcony side. The accessible units come in two-, three-, and four-room layouts.

Elevators are installed in buildings 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 30, 34, 44, 48, 68, and 72 within Skovvænget.

Furthermore, 144 apartments will be refurbished but maintain their current layouts. Existing balconies will be integrated into the living area, with new balconies accessible from the living rooms. Renovated units will include new kitchens and bathrooms and are available as two-, three-, four-, and five-room apartments.

The outdoor areas will be redesigned to feature various courtyard environments, including activity zones, bicycle and ball courts, CrossFit installations, a Krolf garden, flower and fruit gardens, wildflower meadows, sensory rooms, wooded areas, pavilions, smaller barbecue spots, and family grill areas.

The neighborhood enjoys a prime location surrounded by nature in Haderslev's southern Sydbyen district, close to flourishing forest areas and just four kilometers from the picturesque fjord, vibrant harbor, and charming historic city center. There are numerous cycling paths nearby, and a bus runs every half hour to the city center. Schools, leisure clubs for older children, daycare facilities, and a shopping center are all within easy reach.

Haderslev itself is a historic market town rich in cultural and recreational offerings. It boasts cozy cafés, shopping opportunities, and attractions suitable for all ages, such as children's bike races, carnival parades, vintage train trips to Vojens, geocaching, pirate-themed and canoe excursions. This housing group offers flexible leasing options, allowing applicants who meet one or more specific flexible criteria to receive priority in the housing queue. This means you may secure a residence more quickly than those on the standard waiting list. One of the flexible criteria is employment connection: applicants working at least 25 hours per week in Haderslev municipality but residing outside the municipality can apply. Proof of employment, recent pay slips, and residence registration must be provided.
