Skovvænget/Brombærvej offers family housing in the desirable southern district of Haderslev, known as Sydbyen. This residential area features a diverse selection of one- to five-room apartments available at various price points to suit different needs. Each home is distinct in layout and design; some showcase bright beech parquet floors while others feature vinyl flooring. About 74 apartments have been updated with stylish bathrooms designed with meticulous attention to detail. These include elegant light tiled floors with underfloor heating, glass-enclosed showers, and modern fixtures such as faucets, toilets, and sinks. Other bathrooms contain either classic white tiled floors or charming older gray mosaic tiles, and all are equipped with either showers or bathtubs.

The kitchens are spacious and bright, providing ample cabinet and countertop space along with cozy dining nooks. They come fully equipped with quality white appliances including refrigerators/freezers and stoves, with most units also fitted with range hoods. Bedrooms offer pleasant views over green spaces or nearby forested areas. Living rooms are generously sized, allowing for both relaxation and dining arrangements. Large windows fill these rooms with natural light, and they lead out onto private, enclosed balconies ideal for outdoor enjoyment and relaxation. Here, residents can create a small retreat with plants, café-style tables, and chairs, enjoying scenic views of the adjacent forest and lush outdoor areas. Some apartments also include an internal storage room.

Utility costs for water and heating are billed monthly in advance by the landlord, while electricity is settled directly with the utility provider.

Situated in the scenic southern part of Haderslev, adjacent to a forest, Skovvænget/Brombærvej consists of 22 yellow brick buildings dating back to 1968. The complex contains 342 homes accommodating a range of residents, including singles, families, seniors, and young people. The location is convenient, with everything within walking distance: from the extensive forest to schools, leisure clubs for older children, daycare centers, and shopping centers. Public transportation is easily accessible, with a bus stop right outside the door providing connections to the city center and local schools.

Residents benefit from large, attractive communal outdoor areas equipped with numerous amenities for all ages. Younger children have access to several small playgrounds with sandboxes, while older kids can enjoy recently built playgrounds featuring climbing frames and zip lines. Additionally, there are tennis and street basketball courts for active play. The outdoor space includes many cozy seating areas with picnic tables and six permanent barbecue spots available for use. Four outdoor pavilions offer sheltered places to enjoy meals with family regardless of weather conditions.

Additional conveniences include free parking for cars and motorcycles, with the option to secure a dedicated parking space for 50 DKK monthly. A parking attendant is employed to oversee the parking facilities. Each building has a communal laundry room equipped with tables, washers, and dryers.

The community hosts a variety of engaging events annually, including carnival, summer, and Christmas celebrations open to all residents. Regular activities include darts, billiards, a coffee club serving cakes and rolls, a Red Cross children's club, and more.

Between 2018 and 2022, Skovvænget/Brombærvej, designated as department 1625, is undergoing extensive renovation. Upon completion, the area will feature new row houses and renovated, accessible apartments. The renovation will reduce the number of multi-story apartments but add 35 new row houses along Brombærvej. These homes will be three- and four-room units, spacious and bright, each with a private entrance, garden, and direct outdoor access.

The project also includes the creation of 66 accessible apartments designed for independent wheelchair users. These units allow movement from parking lot to building, elevator access to the apartment, navigation within the home, and access to a balcony. These apartments, designed to appeal to families, seniors, and disabled residents alike, will be newly arranged with kitchens and living rooms facing the balcony side. The accessible units come in two-, three-, and four-room layouts.

Elevators are installed in buildings 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 30, 34, 44, 48, 68, and 72 within Skovvænget.

Furthermore, 144 apartments will be refurbished but maintain their current layouts. Existing balconies will be integrated into the living area, with new balconies accessible from the living rooms. Renovated units will include new kitchens and bathrooms and are available as two-, three-, four-, and five-room apartments.

The outdoor areas will be redesigned to feature various courtyard environments, including activity zones, bicycle and ball courts, CrossFit installations, a Krolf garden, flower and fruit gardens, wildflower meadows, sensory rooms, wooded areas, pavilions, smaller barbecue spots, and family grill areas.
