The MønsTREhusene development in Givskud consists of a total of fourteen newly constructed public housing units, arranged as seven semi-detached houses designed to create a cohesive and appealing residential area. These homes are expected to be ready for occupancy by December 1, 2025. Each residence features an open-plan kitchen that seamlessly connects to a bright dining area and living room. From the living room, two spacious terraces are accessible, one on each side of the house, ensuring sun exposure at different times of the day. This housing project is part of a larger initiative delivering 40 family residences, each measuring 89 square meters, spread across three locations: 10 units in Vonge, 15 in Thyregod, and 15 in Givskud. The homes are constructed in clusters of two or three adjoining houses, made of exposed brick with either gabled roofs or mono-pitched roofs covered with membrane roofing material.

The environment between the houses includes carefully planned green communal areas that encourage outdoor activities, play, and community interaction, fostering a lively and welcoming neighborhood. The location offers convenient access on foot or by bike to schools, sports facilities, and shopping. Givskud itself is situated near Vejle and approximately 8 kilometers from Jelling. Besides the popular Givskud Zoo, visited by thousands annually, the town boasts an active cultural and community scene, local shops, creative spaces, and educational and childcare services. Quick and easy transportation by bus or car connects residents to Billund Airport, Vejle city center, and Horsens city within a short timeframe. For example, the exact number of units the municipality will allocate for first-time rental is not yet determined.
