Department 6 consists of terraced houses built in 1980. The area provides a communal laundry facility, and residents have the option to rent a carport within the development.

The location is in Gram, which is situated approximately 22 kilometers from Ribe. Within Gram, there are amenities including a school, after-school care programs, public transportation access, and shopping options. At the heart of town lies Gram Kulturhus, offering sports facilities, bowling alleys, and an outdoor swimming pool. The surroundings are well suited for walking, featuring paths leading to Gram Castle, its picturesque castle park, and the nearby Gram stream. The department itself is positioned on the outskirts of Gram in a peaceful residential neighborhood made up of single-family homes. Skipperkobbel consists of 14 terraced buildings designed with practical layouts that create bright living spaces. Each home includes a kitchen with an eating area and a spacious bathroom. Residents have access to their own terrace and/or a small garden area. Heating is supplied through district heating.

Maintenance of the green spaces and minor repairs inside the homes are overseen by the property caretaker assigned to the development. Additionally, an inspector is responsible for the ongoing upkeep of the entire property.

Governance is handled through an elected board representing the residents. During the annual general meeting involving all tenants, decisions about the management of the department, including rent and operational matters, are collectively determined.
