One of the household members must have permanent employment in Tønder municipality for at least 20 hours per week, verified through a copy of the employment contract and the three most recent pay slips. Permanent positions subsidized publicly, such as flexible jobs, are considered equivalent to regular employment given documentation is provided showing at least 20 hours of work in total, rather than hours worked specifically for the employer. Self-employed individuals and consultants must document their status with a CVR registration and turnover figures from the latest financial year. A declaration declaring the accuracy of the documentation is required. It is also a condition for all three categories that the applicants reside outside Tønder municipality, verified by a certificate from the municipality.
