Set back from the roadside, a gravel driveway stretches windingly for over 120 meters, leading up to both the main residence and an adjoining building designed in the distinctive style of a traditional barn. This estate enjoys complete privacy, shielded from view and noise by mature, towering trees. Facing eastward, directly in front of the principal living areas and spanning the full width of the house’s stone terrace, residents can enjoy expansive views across more than three acres (17,000 m²) of fields, open landscapes, and woodland.

The original owner, known as the Skovrider, was inspired by a journey to Southern Jutland during the 1920 Reunification celebrations, where the unique high-roofed barns of the region caught his admiration. These structures featured steep pitched roofs allowing for spacious haylofts. Upon returning home, he commissioned a similar barn to be constructed; this building now offers approximately 200 m² of commercial space suitable for a company, extended living quarters for multiple generations, or accommodations for a large family, and it is directly connected to the main house.

Constructed in 1932 as a manor-style dwelling, the 300 m² main house draws strong inspiration from the forester’s wife’s extensive travels in England. The architectural style, both inside and out, showcases elegant features such as stucco detailing, gracefully curved staircases, and notably high ceilings, evoking the charm of early 20th-century stately homes. The property underwent significant renovations in 2018 to update and preserve its character.

During the war, the property was lost by the family—a fate not uncommon for estates of such standing at the time. However, several years later, the now-adult grandchildren of the forester repurchased the estate and have maintained ownership since then.

The location benefits from convenient amenities nearby, including numerous golf courses and a less than 2-kilometer distance to Allerød Station and local shopping. Public transportation is readily accessible, with a bus stop directly on the adjacent road. The international school in Birkerød lies just as close as the Øresund Strait, each approximately 10 km away. Additionally, a well-regarded private school is found in Blovstrød, and Copenhagen’s City Hall Square can be reached within about 30 minutes.
