Built in 1949, the development consists of four-storey apartment buildings and contains 106 homes in total, ranging from one to four rooms. Apartments have a balcony, except for those on the third floor, which feature bay windows and sloping walls. Each home is equipped with a cooker and an extractor hood, and heating is supplied by district heating.

Residents have access to shared green spaces, a communal laundry room, a function room and a bicycle cellar. The development is centrally situated in Middelfart, close to the station and shopping facilities. From Middelfart, Fredericia is 11 kilometres to the north, Assens is 34 km to the south, and Odense is just under 46 km to the east.

The community includes young people, older residents and families, and there is a good relationship between neighbours. At the annual meeting for all residents, decisions are made about the running of the development, rent and related matters. You may arrange the interior of your home as you wish, but proposed alterations must first be reported. When moving out, you may receive compensation for improvements you have paid for yourself. The buildings are well maintained: the property caretaker looks after the shared green areas and handles minor repairs in the homes, while a property manager is responsible for ongoing maintenance of the development.
