The houses on Toftevej consist of single-story terraced homes with varied layouts, situated in the heart of Glamsbjerg. These residences, built between 1983 and 1989, feature wide doorways and no interior steps, except for those at even-numbered addresses and the youth housing units. Kitchens in the even-numbered homes underwent renovation in 2003. Family units located at odd-numbered addresses come equipped with their own washing machines, while the other apartments have access to a shared laundry facility within the building complex. Kitchen designs differ across the units: youth homes include kitchenette setups with a refrigerator featuring a freezer compartment and separate stovetops. Meanwhile, other apartments showcase bright kitchens furnished with a combined fridge-freezer, stove or built-in oven, integrated cooktops, extractor hoods, and ample cabinet space for kitchenware. Additionally, tenants may bring their own dishwashers except in the even-numbered and youth units. Bathroom styles also vary, but they commonly have a light color scheme, storage for toiletries, and either a shower cabin or designated shower area. Radiators provide heating in both the odd and even-numbered homes, whereas underfloor heating is installed in the others. All accommodations offer generous storage through built-in closets; the odd-numbered homes also include utility rooms. Private gardens come with these properties, excluding the youth housing, though tenants are responsible for fencing their gardens.

Regarding utilities, water is billed monthly as an advance payment, heating is similarly invoiced monthly in advance, and electricity charges are settled directly with the utility provider. An exception is made for the even-numbered homes, where electricity is also invoiced as a monthly advance payment. Upon moving in, new tenants are required to cover the basic TV package subscription.

The neighborhood provides excellent public transport options, with bus stops located between 200 and 500 meters from the residences and the nearest train station 14 kilometers away. Shopping facilities are accessible within a range of 200 to 800 meters, while the town center of Glamsbjerg, offering a charming selection of specialty shops, lies between 200 and 1,000 meters on foot. Educational institutions and daycares for younger family members can be found within 300 to 1,000 meters; however, for residents of Stentevej and Toftevej, the closest school is approximately 1 kilometer distant and the nearest daycare around 500 meters away.
