The residences at Fårup and Højagerkollegiet offer student housing conveniently located near educational institutions. These homes on Ringvejen and within Højagerkollegiet provide appealing study accommodations with ample opportunities for communal activities.

Within the apartments, fixed wardrobes are standard. Several kitchens are separated spaces, while others feature an open layout; all are equipped with white cabinet elements from Svane. Appliances include a fridge-freezer, stove hood, and cooker. The two-room units differ by having four distinct hotplates and a countertop oven. Bathrooms with showers are finished with brown floor tiles and wallpapered walls. Storage sheds are available for all tenants—some have individual access, while others share.

The two housing complexes consist of single-story row houses. Fårupkollegiet, constructed of red bricks, was built in 1996 and 2000 and is located in Jelling’s southern area. Højagerkollegiet, which opened in 1984, lies in the western part of Jelling. Both sites feature a common room available to tenants at very reasonable rental fees, alongside shared laundry facilities. The outdoor communal spaces are cozy and frequently bustling with activity, including barbecues, bonfires, and for Højagerkollegiet residents, a beach volleyball court. Strong social networks are an integral part of both communities, maintained through social media communication channels. An agreement with Jelling Radio & TV allows tenants to obtain an internet modem for a small charge. The dwellings are not specifically designed for wheelchair users; however, solutions can be arranged if needed.

Pets are not permitted in the one-room apartments.

Both complexes are situated within easy reach of University College Lillebælt. Public transportation options such as buses and trains provide straightforward access to Vejle. The town of Jelling itself offers a variety of cafés, specialty shops, and cultural venues like Byens Hus, which hosts music events, a cinema, and a library. Close by are Fårup Lake, a golf course, and pleasant green spaces that enhance the neighborhood’s appeal.
