Højager - terraced houses set in attractive surroundings. The homes are designed for family living with a tiled entrance hall that includes an open wardrobe. In the two-storey units there are fixed cupboards on the landing of the first floor. The mocca-coloured tiles from the entrance continue on the floor of the shower bathroom, which has white wall tiles. Kitchens are primarily made with beech veneer units, except at Fårupvej 1D where the kitchen units are white laminate with a beech edge. The kitchen opens onto the living room, and from the living room a double patio door leads out to the garden. Beech parquet flooring covers the living room and bedroom. Mølvangvej 3A and 3C have no doorsteps and are therefore accessible for disabled users, while Mølvangvej 3B and 3D have external staircases.

The housing association comprises several distinct rows and periods of construction. One section consists of single-storey terraced houses built in 1976 in red brick, arranged in four rows around a communal outdoor area with lawns, picnic benches, a playground, trees and shrubs. That section is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood 1 km south of Jelling centre and includes a shared parking area plus five carports available for rent via waiting list. A small TV package from Jelling Antenneforening is included in the rent; any upgrade to a larger package is paid directly to the antenna association. At the south-western edge of Jelling there are attractive red-brick single-storey terraced houses from 1981 situated in a quiet, green area with very limited traffic; 300 meter from those homes is a municipal football pitch and 500 meter away is the outdoor swimming pool. The dwellings at numbers 116-124 and 164-176 enjoy a fine view of a small lake. In total 12 carports belong to that development and can be rented on a waiting list. In the central part of Jelling there are two-storey red-brick terraced houses built in 1988. The two-room flats at Fårupvej 1F and Mølvangvej 5 are two-storey, as are the three-room flats at Fårupvej 1A-E and Mølvangvej 7-9; the remaining homes in that area are single-storey and therefore without internal stairs. The area offers well-maintained green communal spaces planted with trees and shrubs, a shared terrace with garden furniture and a bicycle shed. Another group of single-storey terraced houses was built in 1997 in yellow facing bricks with black cement roof tiles; in 2014 a ventilation system was installed to ensure a very good indoor climate in all tenancies. Surrounding these properties are outdoor recreation areas with lawns, a sports pitch, playground, picnic benches, a barbecue area, a bonfire site, a basketball court and a trampoline. The department also provides its own common room and a guest flat that can be rented for larger events. Near Plejecenter Højager there are sheltered homes consisting of single-storey terraced houses from 2002, built with warm red-coloured brickwork under black roofs; their shared outdoor areas consist of well-kept lawns with bushes and hedges, offering both a pleasant local environment and the possibility to withdraw to one's own home.

The location lies in the southern part of Jelling, close to Fårup Sø, the golf course and the wooded areas of Jelling Skov. Jelling also offers schools, institutions, a library, cafés and other cultural facilities, and Gormshallen with its many sports facilities is a couple of kilometres away. Safe paths lead children and adults approximately 1 km to Jelling centre where schools, day-care institutions, sports facilities and shopping are available. The town is home to Kongernes Jelling, a free experience centre for families. Jelling Musikfestival takes place every May, and there are 2 km to the forest, the golf course and Fårup Sø where Viking ships and boat rental can be found. The motorway network around Vejle is reachable in 20 minutes; it is about 10 km to Vejle and Givskud Zoo and 20 km to Legoland. The monuments at Jelling are within walking distance from the centre and a short stroll from these homes; they are inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List alongside sites such as Stonehenge and the Great Wall of China. Tenants in youth or family housing with Jelling Boligselskab are advised to register on the internal waiting list for a family home; after living in a youth home for at least 2 years the tenant will be considered an internal applicant.
