Almen Boligselskabet Centrum Danmark presents a housing department formed from several previously separate units. The residences at Hesbjerglund include one-, two-, three- and four-room apartments offered at various price levels according to needs, while the youth units are one-room apartments. All living rooms are bright and feature beech parquet flooring. Bedrooms are light and fitted with built-in wardrobes. Bathrooms are finished with light tiles and include a shower niche, toilet and space allocated for a washing machine. Kitchens are bright and spacious with ample cabinet and worktop space; in the family apartments every kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove and extractor hood. The department comprises several distinct properties. Søndersøvej consists of two-storey buildings and maisonette-style units with rentals over two levels connected by interior steps; the buildings were originally constructed in 1927 and underwent a total renovation in 1995. These centrally located Vissenbjerg homes have attractive shared outdoor areas with picnic table-and-bench sets, a communal bicycle shed and each apartment includes its own storage shed except for no. 1 A; it is possible to rent an additional shed within the department if required, and visitors benefit from very good parking facilities close to the homes. The Senhjerneskadecenter is a pleasant section situated 1.5 km. from Vissenbjerg centre, with lovely grassed areas, a shared terrace furnished with picnic seating, and bonfire sites where summer evenings can be spent together; visitors have good parking options at the department and there are locked bicycle sheds. The Vestergade section is centrally placed in Vissenbjerg and, despite its central location, still offers good parking nearby; it comprises a two-storey building erected in 1960 and completely renovated and converted into attractive apartments in 2014. Ground-floor apartments feature wide doorways and no interior steps, and the first-floor apartments are fitted with a door phone. Haugelund, located in Duedalen approximately 1-2 km. from Vissenbjerg's town centre, provides a shared laundry and communal rooms available to residents for a fee, nearby grass areas with picnic seating, bicycle storage in sheds and a parking area by the green spaces. Hesbjerglund itself lies in a scenic, peaceful setting within walking distance to Vissenbjerg town centre and consists of cosy red brick terraced houses in one or two storeys; built in 1991, it comprises a total of 46 dwellings of which four are youth units. The area offers green communal outdoor spaces with a play area and picnic benches, a large community house containing both a party room and a shared laundry, good parking facilities and bus connections a few hundred metres from Hesbjerglund. Kildebakken provides pleasant outdoor areas and strong parking options; residents on Østergade have access to a shared laundry for a fee, residents on Østervang can rent the department's communal rooms for social events, Nørrevænget has locked bicycle sheds, and there are generally very good parking opportunities across the department. In this department only smaller pets are permitted; dogs and cats are not allowed.

Hesbjerglund is situated in Vissenbjerg, a market town in Assens Municipality located approximately 21 km. from Assens and 17 km. from Odense. From Hesbjerglund a well-organised network of paths provides quick and safe routes to schools, daycare institutions, the sports centre and shopping, and there is a bus service departing near Hesbjerglund; the motorway is not far away and Odense Centrum can be reached in about 20 minutes. Trains depart from Aarup, which is approximately 5.5 km. from Vissenbjerg. Vissenbjerg has several attractions, including Terrariet with Scandinavia's largest reptile collection.
