Klitmøller sits right on the North Sea and is part of Cold Hawaii, an area that draws surfers from around the world. The town has approximately 1,200 inhabitants and has seen a substantial influx of new residents over the past 10 years. During the summer half-year the number of people in town multiplies, as Klitmøller is a popular destination for tourists. The settlement borders directly on the North Sea and Nationalpark Thy. Hanstholm/ Kromarken, Centervej & Bådsgårdsvej comprise the residential areas where the apartments and terraced houses at Kromarken vary considerably: there are 1, 2, 3 and 4-room dwellings with sizes ranging from 32 - 105 m2.
