Fårup- and Højagerkollegiet offer attractive student accommodations situated close to educational institutions. The residences located on Ringvejen and at Højagerkollegiet feature study apartments designed to support communal living and social interaction.

Each unit comes with built-in cupboards, and kitchen layouts vary between separate kitchens and open-plan designs. Regardless of style, all kitchens are equipped with white cabinets from Svane, alongside a refrigerator-freezer, cooker hood, and stove. In the two-room apartments, the cooking area includes four separate burners and an oven placed on the countertop. Bathrooms are fitted with brown floor tiles and walls covered in linen textured wallpaper. Storage sheds are available to all tenants; some have private units while others share with fellow residents.

The housing complexes consist of single-story terraced houses. Fårupkollegiet, constructed of red bricks, was built in phases during 1996 and 2000 and is situated in the southern area of Jelling. Højagerkollegiet, located in the western part of Jelling, has been in use since 1984. Both locations feature communal rooms that are rentable at modest fees and share laundry facilities. Outside areas provide a pleasant environment for social activities such as barbecues and campfires, along with a beach volleyball court at Højagerkollegiet. The communities have a strong social network, making use of social media platforms for communication. Internet access is facilitated through an agreement with Jelling Radio & TV, allowing tenants to obtain modems for a small charge. While the apartments are not specifically outfitted for disabled access, suitable arrangements can be made for wheelchair users.

Pets are not permitted in the single-room apartments.

The surroundings offer convenient transport connections to educational centers like University College Lillebælt, with buses and trains serving routes to Vejle. Jelling town provides a variety of cafes, specialty shops, and Byens Hus, where cultural events such as concerts, cinema screenings, and a library are available. Nearby recreational opportunities include Fårup Lake, a golf course, and extensive green spaces.
