This pause results in extended waiting periods for both internal and external applicants, as residents will need to be temporarily relocated across all departments within the housing association. Any available apartments not tied to the relocation process will, however, continue to be rented out under usual procedures.

Sønderpark is notable for its lively community spirit, reflected by a wide array of activities offered within the housing area itself. The residences are structured as multi-story buildings situated in a calm, park-like environment. Residents can conveniently park their cars in one of the designated parking spaces around the site and stroll to their homes from there.

Only 900 meters separate Sønderpark from the diverse urban life and train station of Ringsted. The housing division is supported by its own property caretaker and features a large, efficiently operated communal laundry facility.

In Ringsted, a variety of social groups are available for tenants of the housing association to join. Residents of Ringsted Almene Boligselskab have access to the Community Guides-support personnel who help individuals navigate and identify local groups that align with their interests and are in close proximity to their homes. Residents are encouraged to reach out via text message or phone call for advice or assistance in starting new activities or communal groups.
