Fårup and Højager Dormitories offer attractive student housing options conveniently located close to educational institutions. These residences at Ringvejen and Højager feature built-in storage units within the apartments. Kitchen layouts vary, with some units featuring separate kitchens while others have open-plan designs, but all are equipped with white cabinetry from Svane. Each kitchen includes a fridge-freezer, a cooker hood, and a stove; however, the two-room apartments come with four individual cooking plates and a countertop oven. Bathrooms are fitted with brown floor tiles and fabric-textured wall coverings. Storage sheds are available for all residents; some have private access while others share the facility.

The housing complexes consist of single-story terraced houses. Fårup Dormitory, constructed from red bricks during 1996 and 2000, is situated in the southern part of Jelling, whereas Højager Dormitory, which began operation in 1984, is located in the western section of the town. Both dormitories include common rooms available for rent at modest rates, along with shared laundry services. The outdoor communal areas encourage social interaction and host frequent activities such as barbecues, bonfires, and beach volleyball matches on a court located at Højager Dormitory. A strong sense of community exists across both sites, facilitated in part through social media platforms. Internet access is supported via a modem provided by Jelling Radio & TV for a small fee. Although the accommodations are not specifically designed for wheelchair users, arrangements can be made to accommodate individuals with mobility impairments.

Pets are prohibited in the studio apartments.

Located a short distance from University College Lillebælt, the dormitories offer excellent transportation options via bus or train to Vejle. The town of Jelling features cafés, specialty shops, and Byens Hus, which hosts concerts, cinema, and a library. Nearby attractions include Fårup Lake, a golf course, and various pleasant green spaces.
