The residences at Fårup and Højagerkollegiet present appealing student housing options conveniently positioned close to educational institutions. Located along Ringvejen, these accommodations offer a variety of kitchen layouts, some featuring separate kitchens while others have open designs. All kitchens are equipped with white cabinetry from Svane, as well as appliances including a fridge-freezer, cooker hood, and stove. In the two-room units, cooking facilities comprise four individual hotplates accompanied by a countertop oven. Bathrooms are fitted with brown floor tiles and textured wall coverings. Storage sheds are provided for all residents; some tenants have private sheds, whereas others share with neighbors.

Both Fårup and Højagerkollegiet consist of single-story terraced houses. Fårupkollegiet, built from red bricks, was developed in two phases during 1996 and 2000 and is situated in the southern sector of Jelling. Højagerkollegiet, established in 1984, lies in the western part of the town. Each site houses a communal room available for rent at very reasonable rates, along with laundry facilities. The outdoor common areas encourage social interaction, often hosting activities by the barbecue or bonfire spots. Additionally, at Højagerkollegiet, there is a beach volleyball court where residents can compete. Both communities have a strong social structure, which is supported through the use of social media platforms.
