The youth housing units located on Fruelundsvej in central Ringe are arranged primarily as single-story row houses. Each entrance leads to a shared hallway equipped with wardrobe closets, from which separate main doors provide access to two distinct apartments. Additionally, Fruelundsvej features Building E, an older two-story structure formerly known as a "poorhouse," containing residences on both floors. This building comprises seven apartments, which are notably larger than the surrounding units. Each dwelling includes a single room alongside a kitchenette outfitted with a fridge-freezer, individual stovetops, and an extractor hood. The bathrooms are generously sized with vinyl flooring, and specifically, the bathrooms in E6 and E7 benefit from natural light through windows.

Surrounding these accommodations are attractive green areas ideal for socializing outdoors, complemented by a communal, locked bicycle storage facility. Pet ownership is permitted under certain conditions: smaller animals such as birds, fish, guinea pigs, and rabbits are allowed, whereas reptiles and other exotic pets are prohibited. Dogs and cats are generally not permitted except in one apartment without a shared entrance (Fruelundsvej 1E, E3). Special permissions may be obtained by contacting the service center.

These youth apartments are intended exclusively for individuals enrolled in or admitted to study programs. Residence is permitted for the duration of one's education, with a mandatory move-out deadline within three months after completing studies. There is no charge for placing one's name on the waiting list for these housing units.
