This situation has led to extended waiting periods for both internal and external applicants, as residents need to be temporarily relocated across all departments of the housing company. However, any vacancies that arise and are unrelated to the rehousing process will be rented out through the usual channels.

Sønderpark is a lively neighborhood, reflected in its abundant club activities and diverse options for engagement right within the housing area. The residences themselves are housed in multi-story buildings set within a quiet, park-like environment. Residents can conveniently park their cars in one of the designated parking areas nearby before strolling to their homes.

The dynamic town life of Ringsted, including the train station, is located only about 900 meters from Sønderpark. Residents benefit from a dedicated property manager for the district as well as access to a large, well-maintained communal laundry facility.

In Ringsted, residents of the housing association have access to a wide range of community groups. As a member of Ringsted Almene Boligselskab, tenants can reach out to the Community Guides, who provide assistance in identifying local groups that align with personal interests and needs. These guides offer tailored advice and support and can suggest activities or communities close to where one lives. Tenants are encouraged to send a text message or call the Community Guides if they seek guidance or help in starting new initiatives or social groups.
