The largest division of Ringsted Housing Association is well known for its vibrant community life.

Please note that due to a major renovation project planned for Sønderpark, the waiting list for the entire association has been put on hold starting January 1, 2021. This suspension results in extended waiting periods for all applicants, both current residents and external candidates, since residents from all departments will need to be temporarily relocated. However, any available units that are unrelated to the relocation efforts will continue to be rented out under regular procedures.

Sønderpark is a lively neighborhood characterized by an active club scene and a wide range of activities available within the housing area itself. The residences consist of multi-story buildings situated in a peaceful, park-like environment. Residents have access to the designated parking areas nearby, from which they can conveniently walk to their homes.

The bustling town life of Ringsted and its train station are located just 900 meters away from Sønderpark, offering easy access to city amenities and transportation. Additionally, the housing department maintains its own property caretaker and offers a large, well-equipped shared laundry facility for residents.

Ringsted also offers strong community networks for its inhabitants.

Within Ringsted, there are numerous communal groups that tenants of the housing association can join to foster social connections. Residents of Ringsted Almene Boligselskab are encouraged to reach out to the Community Guides, who assist in identifying local groups and activities that align with individual interests and are situated close to one's living area. Tenants are welcome to contact these guides by phone or text message for advice and support, including help with initiating new activities or community groups.
