Gram is located approximately 22 km from Ribe. In Gram there is a school, a leisure scheme (fritidsordning), public transport and shopping facilities. There are good opportunities for walks, for example down to Gram Slot, the beautiful castle park and Gram å. The resident composition in the department is mixed and there is a good sense of neighbourliness. The development's caretaker looks after the green areas and attends to minor repairs in the dwellings, and an inspector is attached to ensure the ongoing maintenance of the development. A board has been elected for the development; at the annual meeting for all the department's residents, the residents decide all matters concerning the department's operation and rent, etc.
