Please note that due to the extensive renovation planned for Sønderpark, the waiting list for the entire housing association has been put on hold starting January 1, 2021. This suspension results in longer waiting periods for both internal and external applicants, as residents must be temporarily relocated across all departments within the housing association. Should any vacant apartments become available that are unrelated to the relocation process, these will be leased out through the standard procedure.

Sønderpark is alive with activity, noticeably reflected in the wide variety of clubs and communal engagements available within the residential area. The homes, constructed as multi-story buildings, are situated in a tranquil, park-like environment. Residents can park their vehicles in one of the designated parking lots and take a short walk to their apartments.

The lively and diverse city atmosphere of Ringsted, along with its train station, is conveniently located just 900 meters from Sønderpark. The housing division benefits from its own property manager and features a large, efficiently run shared laundry facility.

Within Ringsted, numerous social groups and communities exist for residents of the housing association to join. Those living in the Ringsted Almene Boligselskab have access to the Community Guides, who assist residents in discovering and connecting with groups that suit their interests and needs, particularly those close to their homes. Residents are encouraged to reach out to the Community Guides at any time by phone or SMS if they seek advice or support in initiating a new activity or community.
