Tinpottegyde, built in 2001/2002 in the style of an old warehouse to maintain nostalgic charm, offers a cozy courtyard with picnic tables, a lawn, flower beds, and a covered terrace. Shared laundry facilities and bicycle sheds are provided there, and parking is available close by with the option to rent carports subject to waiting lists.

The surrounding area offers a multitude of amenities in a vibrant commercial town center. From Store Kirkestræde, cultural venues such as theaters and museums, grocery and specialty shops, as well as educational institutions and daycares, are all within convenient reach. The local sports hall is located approximately two kilometers away, and the pedestrian shopping street can be reached in just a five-minute walk. The natural beauty of North Jutland attracts many, and beach trips to Lønstrup, situated twelve kilometers from Hjørring, are easily accessible.
