The student residences at Fårup and Højager offer well-equipped living spaces close to educational institutions. Located on Ringvejen and within Højagerkollegiet, these accommodations provide options that support both private living and communal activities. Each apartment comes with built-in closets, and kitchen layouts vary between enclosed and open styles, all featuring white cabinetry from Svane. The kitchens are furnished with a fridge-freezer, extractor hood, and stove; however, the two-room units are distinguished by having four individual cooking plates and a countertop oven. Bathrooms include showers, with floors tiled in brown and walls finished with textured wallpaper. Storage sheds are available for every resident, with some having personal sheds while others share.

Both Fårupkollegiet and Højagerkollegiet are single-story row houses, offering a vibrant social environment. Fårupkollegiet, constructed of red brick in 1996 and 2000, is positioned in the southern area of Jelling. Højagerkollegiet, established in 1984, lies in the western part of the town. Each dormitory provides a communal room that can be rented at very reasonable rates, as well as shared laundry facilities. The outdoor areas are inviting and frequently host various activities such as barbecues, bonfire gatherings, or games of beach volleyball on the court near Højagerkollegiet. These communities foster strong social connections, including the use of social media platforms for communication. Internet access is facilitated through an arrangement with Jelling Radio & TV, offering modems for a small fee. Although these homes are not specifically adapted for disabled persons, wheelchair users are accommodated through tailored solutions.

Pets are prohibited in the studio apartments.

The surroundings of both dormitories offer excellent transportation links to University College Lillebælt. Residents can easily reach Vejle by bus or train.
