Other bathrooms present either pristine white tile flooring or charming older gray mosaic tiles, equipped with either a shower cubicle or a bathtub.

Kitchens in these homes are spacious and well-lit, offering ample cupboard and countertop space alongside room for a cozy dining nook. They come complete with sturdy white appliances including a refrigerator/freezer and a stove, and most feature an extractor hood. Bedrooms present pleasant, airy spaces with views over verdant surroundings or forested areas. Living rooms provide enough space for arranging both a lounge area and a dining section. From here, natural light streams through large windows and leads to a small, enclosed balcony that serves as an excellent spot for outdoor relaxation. The grounds feature extensive, well-maintained communal outdoor spaces equipped with numerous amenities for residents of all ages. Younger children benefit from several smaller playgrounds with sandboxes, while older kids can enjoy recently updated playgrounds featuring climbing structures and zip lines. Sports enthusiasts have access to tennis and street basketball courts. Between 2018 and 2022, Skovvænget/Brombærvej (department 1625) has been undergoing an extensive renovation project. Upon completion, the area will boast newly constructed row houses alongside renovated and more accessible apartments.

As part of the refurbishment, the number of traditional multi-story units will decrease to make room for 35 new row houses along Brombærvej. These houses, available in three- and four-room layouts, will be spacious and bright, each featuring a private entrance, garden, and direct outdoor access.

The renovation includes the creation of 66 accessible apartments designed for self-sufficient wheelchair users. These units allow smooth movement from the parking lot into the building, up via elevator, throughout the apartment, and onto the balcony. Besides their accessibility features, these homes are typical in appeal, catering to families, seniors, and individuals with disabilities alike. They will feature newly designed floor plans with an open-plan kitchen and living space adjacent to the balcony. The accessible apartments come in two-, three-, and four-room configurations.

Elevators are installed in buildings numbered 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 30, 34, 44, 48, 68, and 72 at Skovvænget.

A total of 144 apartments will receive refurbishments while retaining their current layouts. The existing balconies will be integrated into the living area, and new balconies will be added with access from the living rooms. These renovated apartments will be equipped with new kitchens and bathrooms and will consist of two-, three-, four-, and five-room units.

The outdoor spaces are being revamped to include various courtyard-style environments featuring activity zones, bicycle and ball courts, CrossFit facilities, a krolf garden, flower beds, an orchard, areas with wildflowers and grasses, sensory rooms, tree groupings, pavilions, smaller barbecue spots, and a family grilling area.

Located in the heart of nature yet close to urban conveniences, Skovbærvej provides easy pedestrian access to stores and schools. Found in the southern portion of Haderslev's Sydbyen area, it is adjacent to lush forestland and just four kilometers from the scenic fjord, the bustling harbor, and the historic neighborhoods of the town center. The surroundings include numerous cycling paths, and a bus to the city center departs every 30 minutes outside the door. Nearby amenities include schools, leisure clubs for older children, daycare facilities, and shopping centers.

Haderslev itself is a charming historic market town steeped in tradition, offering welcoming cafés and good shopping opportunities. The town is rich in cultural and recreational activities suitable for all ages, including children's bike races, carnival parades, vintage train trips to Vojens, geo-caching, pirate-themed and canoeing adventures. Additional facilities consist of a library, museums, golf courses, sports centers, a swimming pool, well-functioning schools including University College South Denmark, boarding schools, and childcare services.

The housing arrangement utilizes a flexible leasing system enabling applicants who meet one or more specified flexible criteria to advance further up the waiting list, allowing them to secure a residence more quickly than through the standard queue.

One of the flexible criteria available for this housing group is employment affiliation: applicants working within Haderslev municipality but residing outside it, holding a permanent position of at least 25 hours per week. Documentation required includes a copy of the employment contract, the last three pay slips, and proof of residence.
