The department comprises 46 homes in total and is located in Kværndrup. Rødhøjsvej consists of single-storey terraced houses with 2-4 rooms. Seven of these are youth homes, each with 1 room. The homes were built in 1988/90 and have a terrace/garden and a shed. They are heated by district heating, and a small number of carports are available in the department. On Svendborgvej, "Pakhuset" has 6 apartments in a multi-storey building and a shared garden. These homes were renovated in 1992 and are equipped with a cooker and refrigerator. The department also has a shared laundry room and a community hall.

Residents meet once a year to decide on the department's budget, which determines the rent for the coming year. To rent a youth home, applicants must be in education and provide proof of their studies or apprenticeship, or similar. The rental period for youth homes is limited.

You may arrange, alter and remodel your home as you wish. The department's website explains the process and which improvements can be financed through a loan. Resident services are provided through the property office or the property caretaker, who can be contacted about matters concerning your home or shared facilities such as the laundry room.
