Brænderigården offers an inviting courtyard space with picnic tables, lawn areas, flower beds, and a covered terrace. Shared laundry facilities are available in Tinpottegyde alongside bicycle sheds. Parking is conveniently located close to the residences, and carports may be rented subject to a waiting list.

The surrounding neighborhood is exceptionally central within Hjørring, placing shops and cafés within easy walking distance. Cultural venues such as concert halls, cinemas, and art galleries are accessible nearby without the need for a car. Educational institutions and recreational facilities for sports are all within one to two kilometers. Residents can easily bring a picnic to nearby Folkeparken or Christiansgave, one of Hjørring's oldest city parks. A 20-minute drive from the area leads to Lønstrup beach, where families can enjoy the seaside.
