Constructed in 2004, the residential complex in Mesinge is well maintained and includes two homes specifically designed to accommodate wheelchair users. The layout features a four-winged courtyard, with two buildings extending outward from the main structure, forming what might be described as "wings." The central courtyard serves as a communal space for residents, while the private gardens face away from this shared area, ensuring privacy for each household.

Situated in Mesinge, the development benefits from nearby amenities such as a school and local shops. Kerteminde, located just 4 kilometers away, offers additional facilities including retail options, a sports hall, a library, and various cultural activities. Each private garden is enclosed by a beech hedge and includes a patio space. Garden sheds are positioned within the individual gardens, acting as separators between neighboring properties. The courtyard is designed to encourage community interaction, providing safe play areas for children and features like a pétanque court, an outdoor kitchen with a charcoal grill, a pergola-covered dining and socializing area, and a greenhouse. Financial support for home improvements can be borrowed through the housing association, with repayment incorporated into the rent. Upon moving out, residents may receive compensation for any improvements they have personally funded. Maintenance of the shared green spaces and minor repairs inside the homes are handled by the community’s caretaker. Additionally, an inspector is assigned to ensure ongoing upkeep of the entire property.
