Agathe and I are searching for a new roommate to join us in our spacious four-room apartment located on Cylindervej, near Sydhavn Station and Fisketorvet. The dwelling measures 107 square meters and consists of three bedrooms along with a generous bathroom equipped with both a washer and dryer. We share a kitchen and living room that opens onto a sizable balcony. For entertainment, we have a smart projector mounted on the wall for movie nights, and on the balcony, you'll find both a large hammock and a chair hammock, as well as a grill perfect for barbecues.
A bit about me: I'm Kristian, a 43-year-old man who occasionally defies his age in behavior. Professionally, I'm a Senior 3D Character Artist working in the gaming industry for one of Denmark's largest mobile game companies. I have numerous hobbies and enjoy nerdy pursuits, staying active, and cooking-sushi is one of my favorite dishes to prepare. While I usually work weekdays, I have the flexibility to work from home on occasion, so you might find me holed up in my room some days, emerging only to eat or use the bathroom.
Agathe is a 30-year-old woman from France. She works at a bar and typically works all days except Sundays, Mondays, and Thursdays, which she has off. With extensive experience living with others, she and I get along very well. Creative in many ways, she enjoys tea and often reads to unwind.
We're hoping to find a roommate who is sociable yet respects privacy and closed doors. Responsibility is important. The apartment is relatively new to me; I've lived here six years, and no one else has before that. It's crucial to us that you treat the space as if it were your own. Shared spaces like the kitchen and bathroom should be kept tidy, but you have full freedom in your own room. We're not interested in couples, though friends, family, or guests are welcome to visit. While I'm generally easygoing and get along with many types of people, it's essential that we connect well. Respect and consideration rank highly, as do reliability, common sense, and paying bills promptly. Another key point is stable employment with standard working hours since I usually work from home one day a week and it's helpful to coordinate this for occasional alone time.
Feel free to reach out with some information about yourself, including your work, interests, hobbies, and personality traits. Are you a light sleeper, heavy sleeper, or maybe a sleepwalker? I can't say, but we invite you to meet us, Agathe and me, Maria.
The available bedroom is labeled "Bedroom 2" on the bottom right of the floorplan. It measures 10 square meters and is priced at 5,500 DKK per month with a deposit requirement of 11,000 DKK. The room will be ready for occupancy from September 1st. The lease termination notice period is one month. Smoking is prohibited indoors, and pets are not allowed.
There is also a fairly large storage space in the basement if you need to keep extra belongings, subject to availability and amount.
You may rent the room for an indefinite period, provided we have a good rapport.
Best regards,
Agathe and Kristian
