This living situation is a small collective shared by artists, featuring four bedrooms, communal areas, and two balconies. The apartment’s walls are thin, making open communication a vital part of daily life. Over time, the household has evolved into a relaxed, alternative space with a hippie vibe, welcoming creative individuals who thrive in a community where doors remain open and music often fills the rooms.

The ideal resident we seek should meet several criteria: be at least 25 years old; identify as female or non-binary assigned female at birth; respect personal boundaries; embody kindness, creativity, and enthusiasm for life; maintain cleanliness in shared spaces; communicate openly, including voicing needs and asking for support; have affection for cats or be considerate of sensitive feline companions; practice mindfulness and show interest in peaceful activities such as meditation, yoga, and nonviolent communication. Additionally, this person should desire active participation in the household through activities like cooking, relaxing, assisting with chores, socializing, sharing resources, dumpster diving, and contributing to the overall home atmosphere. A genuine wish to live collaboratively and co-create a close-knit, almost family-like environment is essential.

The collective’s cat, Saskia, holds a special status within the household. She enjoys spending time with anyone present and requires a cat-friendly individual willing to engage with her playful, somewhat eccentric nature. This may include interactive play, attempting walks outdoors, feeding her when other caretakers are away, and offering affection when earned.

The current residents include Abi, 31, known for her gentle spirit, appreciation of mindful practices such as meditation, and love for sharing meals and creating a cozy ambiance; Sara, also 31, an artist and musician who acts as a ceremonial spaceholder and is an avid nature lover, passionate about karate, personal development, and maintaining healthy boundaries; and Paola, 33, a fellow cat mom introducing a new furry member to the home, characterized by her kindness, affectionate nature, introverted daily demeanor, and contribution to the communal energy with warmth and initiative.

This opportunity is aimed at finding a harmonious match with intentions for a long-term rental. Should the dynamic prove not to be compatible, the household reserves the right to express this candidly after one month, setting the initial lease term at two months with the possibility to extend.

The room currently available is Room 1, offered at a monthly rent of 5,500 DKK, which includes utilities such as water, heating, and electricity. A deposit equal to one month’s rent, 5,500 DKK, plus a prepaid rent payment of the same amount is required. The room measures 12 square meters, features a large window, and grants access to a shared balcony bathed in afternoon and evening sunlight. The window faces the living room and is covered by a curtain, which serves as the primary light source for that space, so keeping it open when possible is appreciated.

Residents share the apartment with Sara, Abi, Paola, and the one cat. The room provides access to one of the two shared balconies. Internet access is limited to mobile data, as there is no Wi-Fi network. Location-wise, the apartment is a five-minute walk from the Øresund metro station and Lergravsparken station, and about seven minutes on foot from Amager Beach. Registration with the Danish Civil Registration System (CPR) is allowed. The agreement includes a one-month trial period, followed by a one-month notice for termination.
