For one-bedroom youth apartments, eligibility requires that applicants be enrolled in an educational program. The tenancy period is limited to three months following the completion of the education.

The Kirkevej complex comprises a small section consisting of five family dwellings within a single building that underwent renovation in 1998. The apartments feature relatively new hardwood floors and are heated using natural gas. Although there is no communal laundry facility within the complex, plumbing connections are available in the bathroom for installing a washing machine. Residents share access to a communal courtyard and broadband internet. The complex is supported by a caretaker and a property inspector.

Situated very centrally in Brenderup, the location offers convenient proximity to shopping options and public transportation. The nearest bathing beach lies approximately five kilometers away from the residences.

The community within the complex is diverse; however, the majority of occupants in Knorreløkken are elderly. All matters concerning the management of the complex, including rent, are decided collectively by residents at the annual meeting.

Tenants are free to arrange the interior as they prefer, and improvements may be compensated with a reimbursement of up to 100,000 DKK upon moving out. Residents have frequently utilized the opportunity to construct a sunroom extension on the terrace.

The buildings are well maintained, with a caretaker attending weekly to the upkeep of green areas and handling minor repairs within apartments. Additionally, a property inspector is responsible for the ongoing maintenance of the entire complex.
