Starting from January 1, 2026, a bright, tranquil room within my Copenhagen apartment will be available for sublease.

I am a 48-year-old male filmmaker who shares the apartment every other week with my 11-year-old daughter and 14-year-old son. During the weeks when I do not have the children, I usually stay at my girlfriend’s place or my summer house, so the apartment will be largely unoccupied on those weeks.

The apartment is situated just a two-minute walk from the train station and several bus stops, offering convenient access to public transport. Nearby amenities include grocery stores, a cinema, various cafés, and a beach reachable by bike within five minutes. Located right by Copenhagen South (København S) train station, the unit benefits from ample natural light, a peaceful atmosphere, and is positioned on the second floor of a building equipped with an elevator.

I am hoping to rent to a responsible and quiet individual, male or female, who is typically engaged in work or studies during the day.

The room measures approximately 10 square meters and may be rented furnished or unfurnished as preferred. The kitchen, dining area, and bathroom facilities are shared, and the apartment includes communal access to a washing machine and dishwasher. All utilities such as water, electricity, and internet are encompassed in the monthly rent.

When my children are visiting, I use a door to separate our living spaces. The apartment’s layout divides it into two separate sections, allowing me to spend time with my kids without disturbing your routine.

The monthly rent is 5,400 Danish kroner, covering all utilities and appliance use, and must be paid monthly in advance. Prior to moving in, two months’ rent in advance and a security deposit equal to one month’s rent (5,400 DKK) are required; the deposit will be refunded upon departure.

Cycling to the city center takes just 20 minutes.
