Department 43 comprises thirteen semi-detached houses located in the communities of Høm, Roager, and Spandet. These residences were constructed in 1989 and are situated in smaller local areas surrounding Ribe. Tenancy is managed through a waiting list, with priority given to individuals over the age of 55 who do not have children living at home.

Each unit features a garden and comes equipped with a refrigerator, a hob, a built-in oven, and an extractor hood. Heating is provided through electric systems. Additionally, each house includes a carport for parking convenience.

Residents in this department hold an annual meeting during which they determine the budget and consequently set the rent for the coming year. Tenants have the freedom to furnish and modify their homes according to their preferences.
